Walgreens Boots Alliance appoints Lynn Ritson as its new global digital director.

The move comes as the business looks to enhance its digital capabilities with focus on providing seamless communication across all channels.

Ritson joins the business from Cath Kidston where she has acted as global ecommerce director since 2014. Prior to this Ritson has worked for fashion retailers including Karen Millen and AllSaints.

The news follows a series of recent senior level appointments for WBA as it looks to turnaround the business. Earlier this month it was announced in a report from PR Week that Aaron Radelet is set to take on the role of global comms chief for WBA.
