Landmark Wholesale launches on-trade division

Following the success of its recruitment drive amongst on-trade drinks wholesalers, Landmark Wholesale has now gained enough critical mass in the channel to launch a trading division focused on meeting the needs of members serving trade customers in the pub and clubs sector.  In addition to Halls Drinks, which joined in early 2013, a further six specialist on-trade businesses have now been added to membership.

Six new members add significant geographical coverage

The six new on-trade members now joining Landmark are: Libra Drinks Wholesale (East Midlands), Edwards Beer & Minerals (based in South Midlands), Glamorgan Beer Co (South Wales), Hills Prospect (within the M25), Jack Sullivan (South Wales) and Middleton Wholesale (South-East Midlands).  Added to existing members also with business in the on-trade such as Blakemore Wholesale and BA Cash & Carry, these companies now make-up the core of the Landmark on-trade group, which will have extensive regional coverage.

Group sales boosted past £3bn

The influx of new members adds major new turnover to the Landmark group, with total member sales now exceeding £3bn.  As well as buying into the developing on-trade drinks ranges, the new members will also have access to Landmark's wider catering and foodservice offer; enabling them to up-weight their capability in meeting the needs of pubs and clubs in providing food alongside drinks.
