Landmark Wholesale adds two members

Date : 08 May 2015

Major UK wholesale buying group, Landmark Wholesale has recruited two new members adding further to its scale in both the retail and foodservice channels.  The additional members will boost group volume further, helping to sustain Landmark's recent record of strong growth.  This was continued in March, with overall sales-out from member depots up 4.8%, contributing to a year-to-date performance of 8.9%.

Esin Cash & Carry boosts retail channel

Officially joining on 1 May, Enfield-based Esin Cash & Carry is owned by the Ucur family as part of the TFC Holdings Group.  The group also includes a chain of 14 supermarkets across London under the TFC banner.  The company's new purpose built 100,000 sq ft warehouse will offer an extensive range of ethnic products, supplemented with mainstream UK lines both grocery and licensed, where Landmark can offer significant benefits in sourcing and buying terms.

Country Fare adds to foodservice reach

Based in Bournemouth, Country Fare is a specialist fresh produce wholesaler servicing catering and foodservice customers across Dorset and west Hampshire.  However, the business is now developing a fuller offer, extending its ranges to dairy, breads, frozen and dry goods.  As part of Landmark Country Fare will also gain access to the groups strong private label ranges, as well as its new Caterer Connections programme launched earlier this year, which helps bring suppliers and caterers together to target customer needs and drive sales.
