SPAR launches new promotional tool

SPAR UK has teamed up with Retail Marketing International (RMI) to launch the 'SPAR Media Centre' which is designed to offer a more effective way for suppliers to communicate their promotions across the store.

Raise awareness

The media centre is a way for all SPAR suppliers to be able to raise awareness of their brands in a 'cost effective, powerful and integrated' way. Based at SPAR UK's offices in Harrow, this new service is intended to make planning, executing and evaluating campaigns simple for suppliers. Through the software, suppliers will be able to engage with shoppers at key decision making moments using a range of channels such as instore radio adverts, shelf talkers and promotional stands to help drive sales.

Philippe Rondepierre, head of marketing at SPAR UK commented "The new SPAR Media Centre brings together SPAR's extensive range of store communication channels into one central location, whilst enabling us to up-weight our new and exciting media and advertising plans for 2013/14. The programme of promotions on offer through the Media Centre will be developed to boost SPAR's position as having relevant product campaigns for the value-conscious convenience shopper".
