Babou is the French variety discounter that was recently acquired by B&M. It has around 95 stores spread across France. The retailer has an offering of around 30,000 SKUs across clothing, general merchandise and seasonal items. We recently visited multiple Babou stores in the Roubaix area and were impressed by how it is differentiating itself by targeting specific shoppers; families and teenagers.  This retail execution explores these stores in more detail.
