New locations, beyond BP stores, extend the service to more customers.

Additional locations added

M&S has extended the list of stores offering deliveries through third party Deliveroo. This service is now available from 142 M&S stores across the country.

Over 100 BP forecourts with M&S franchises began offering online deliveries through Deliveroo at the end of March (read more here). With fewer cars on the roads, forecourt locations have experienced slower trading during the coronavirus. In the broader convenience channel there's been a surge of activity introducing and extending home delivery services to support shoppers self-isolating.

Essential products

The range includes snacks and food-to-go such as sandwiches and prepared fruit, alongside beer, wine and spirits, evening meal options and essentials such as milk, eggs and bread. Shoppers pay for deliveries, which arrive within half an hour.

Separate to its Deliveroo initiative, M&S is one of a number of retailers offering shoppers the option to buy fixed price grocery boxes to be delivered to home. These include seasonal fruit, meat, and veg boxes.
