Kantar Worldpanel figures for the 12 weeks to 2 February 2014, show that growth in UK grocery retailing slowed to 2.4% in the period, a notable drop on the 12-weeks to 5 January, when growth was 2.9%. With inflation slowing again to 2.1%, the market does at least seem to be seeing some slight volume uplift, despite the slow value growth.
