Belgium-based Colruyt Group said total revenue rose 4.5% to €9.4bn. The figure was boosted by the extension of the financial year for French companies, with the Group noting on a comparable basis, revenue rose 2.8% including petrol and 2.1% excluding petrol. Colruyt has posted its results for the first half of 2018/19, reporting a revenue increase of 3.0% to €4.5bn and net profit of €208m. The retailer attributes its growth to “organic growth, sales price inflation and sales surface expansion” .
