The drugstore operator is again launching its live open house, but this year goes virtual, aiming to secure the next best upcoming health and beauty brands.
Bringing new and innovative offerings to the high street
Superdrug is offering suppliers the opportunity to pitch their brands and products to its senior commercial team, with the opportunity to learn more about Superdrug and potentially securing a listing with the retailer.
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the retailer highlighted this year’s open house focus is on brands that can offer innovation through ingredients and inclusivity in their offerings.
For those brands that successfully secure a listing, Superdrug is offering them access to additional support such as bespoke marketing support, expert advice from commercial buying teams and additional PR.
Businesses can submit their applications from 19th October to 31st October. Shortlisted brands will be invited to a live virtual pitch in November and successful entries will be announced in early 2021. This opportunity is open to new suppliers only and not existing A.S. Watson suppliers.
According to Cosmetics Business, Superdrug’s Healthcare Director, Michael Henry highlighted that in regards to healthcare, the business is committed to continuously search for the latest developments in healthcare and engage with new and even small start-up brands to bring healthcare innovation to the high street.
