Foodcourts by GrabFood is a new feature on Grab Malaysia’s platform.

Mix and Match with one delivery fee

Shoppers can order food from multiple stalls in a single food court and pay only one delivery fee. This reduces the delivery fee for consumers while supporting local eateries. The service is available in food courts across Klang Valley, Penang, Johor Bahru, Kuching, Kota Kinabalu, Melaka and Ipoh. “With a reliable delivery fleet and large community of users nationwide, we hope to play a part in helping to preserve a culture of Malaysia that is close to all our hearts,” said Sean Goh, Managing Director of Grab Malaysia.

Wet market access on Grab

‘Pasar by GrabMart’ is a similar service that connects shoppers to traditional wet markets. It was launched during the lockdown and limited to Klang Valley and Penang. The service will be extended to more locations in Penang and Kota Kinabalu in early October. Goh said, "Beyond helping traditional businesses expand their customer base by reaching more Malaysians on the app, these initiatives also provide the greater public an affordable option to daily necessities. Moving forward, we will continue to look at further opportunities to innovate our ecosystem of services to continue supporting all Malaysians, from the various types of businesses looking for an opportunity to grow, to our customers through technology enabled convenience".
