The regional SPAR wholesaler for the north of England, James Hall & Co, has launched a store on Lancaster University’s campus.

Serving a range of student missions

The store, which was previously an independently owned SPAR store since 1995, has been refurbished by James Hall & Co. Following the full store refurbishment, the store caters to a range of needs and missions. The range includes fresh produce, meal for tonight, food-to-go, healthy snacking, and homeware essentials.

A deli counter has been launched in the store offering hot and cold food including pizza, pasta, sandwiches, salad boxes, as well as curries from the retailer’s company-owned ethnic food brand, Fazilas.

Self-isolation bags for students

James Hall & Co has also worked in partnership with Lancaster University to offer self-isolation bags for international students required to quarantine after entering the UK. These consist of items including tea, rice, pasta, juice, toilet roll, cereal, and tinned goods.
