We visited four of Auchan’s new store concepts in Russia that have been updated to its Audastore design concept. The name comes from the French ‘Audace’, which means bold, courageous, original. The concept has looked to meet this aim through its design, colour, product assortment and services. The new concept is aimed at helping Auchan turn around its declining performance in the country. It is expected to improve shopper experience, encourage them to visit more and to linger in-store, by offering an experiential retail food service via its fresh and food-to-go offer.
