SPAR has unveiled a new online platform, which it describes as ‘faster, mobile user-friendly and useful to all (mobile) devices’. It also provides recipe inspiration and additional product information, with same day delivery is available if orders are placed before 10:00.
Convenience at the heart
The website functionality allows shoppers to repeat orders, based on their shopping history. One account can also be used for multiple delivery addresses, aimed to deliver ‘ease of ordering for healthcare institutions, businesses and volunteers’.
Dutch retailers compete for B2B customers
Competitors in the market are also tailoring their offer to better meet the needs of business customers. Albert Heijn has introduced a new range, helping it cater to ‘corporate clients from SMEs to nurseries and car homes’. Elsewhere, Jumbo has partnered with Intrakoop, the largest purchasing cooperative in care. This will see Jumbo deliver weekly shopping to the 600-strong healthcare provider.
