Dutch drugstore chain Kruidvat, owned by A.S. Watson, plans to open a pop-up store in Palamós this summer.
Pop-up store to open for several weeks
Kruidvat is reviewing the range it will carry at a pop-up store, which it plans to open for several weeks in August. Typically, pop-up stores are used to test demand and attract new suppliers.
While the retailer has previously alluded to the possibility of launching in Spain, its latest initiative is temporary and unlikely to immediately trigger permanent presence in the country. The drugstore chain operates in Netherlands and Belgium, and opened its first store in France in 2015.
