FamilyMart Japan has appointed Hikaru Adachi as its new Chief Marketing Officer. Effective from October 1 Adachi will report directly to the President, Takashi Sawada. The role will be effective from October 1. Adachi will be responsible for FamilyMart’s product planning and sales strategy. He is known to have turned around McDonalds’ performance in Japan.
