New leader for Indonesia’s ecommerce operations.
Another new appointment at Lazada
Earlier on, we reported the new CEO of Lazada Vietnam. Now, the Lazada Group has announced that Mr. Chun Li, co-president of the Lazada Group, has been appointed as the new CEO of Lazada Indonesia. In this role, Li will lead the strategic development and growth of Lazada in the country. At the same time, he also maintains his existing role as the co-president of Lazada Group.
Accelerating and steering growth...
With more than 30 years of experience in ecommerce and global supply chain management, Li is now tasked with accelerating and steering growth of Southeast Asia’s largest ecommerce platform in Indonesia.
The CEO of Lazada Group, Mr. Pierre Poignant said, “The appointment of Li as CEO builds on our strong growth momentum and reinforces our continued commitment to Indonesia. With extensive experience leading teams and a deep understanding of the technology landscape in high-growth eCommerce companies, we believe Li is well placed to take over the steering wheel in Indonesia as we write the next chapter of Lazada’s growth and impact in this important market.”

Prior to joining Lazada Group, Chun Li worked as the CTO for Alibaba Group’s B2B business unit as well as executive positions at eBay and PayPal.
