We visited its flagship store in Istanbul to see how it implements this approach with good ranging and differentiated service.

We visited six Migros Turk stores in Istanbul to see how the retailer is operating across its supermarket and convenience formats. In our visits we observed how it implements its strategic priorities in-store, focusing on three pillars; unrivalled service quality, rich product diversity and prices that contribute to families’ budgets. We also highlight initiatives in its growing ecommerce service, an area of increasing focus for the retailer.

Kaufland has been rolling out its new store concept since 2017. The new store design aims to grow traffic and basket spend. Following our visit to the Kaufland Romania flagship store in November 2017, we returned to Bucharest in May 2018 to see which features are being implemented in new and remodelled stores.
