Coronavirus (COVID-19): Booths launches click & collect service

Booths has launched a next day click & collect service at three of its stores. The retailer also recently launched a limited delivery service for those unable to get to one of its stores.

With its new click & collect service, Booths’s customers can order online from a range of more than 150 products, which can be collected from the retailer’s Garstang, Lytham or Kirkby Lonsdale stores. Customers will receive a call the next day from a store colleague who will take payment over the phone and arrange collection.

Each order has a minimum spend of GB£30 (US$37) with a GB£2 (US$2.50) collection fee. Products are packed into paper bags, which have a charge of GB£0.20 (US$0.25) per bag. No product substitutions will be made, and customers will not be charged for any unavailable item.

Limited home delivery

As well as the click & collect service, Booths is offering a limited home delivery service for those unable to get to a store themselves or send someone on their behalf. Customers are encouraged to use the service only when necessary due to limited slots.

The service is available Monday to Friday, with no set delivery slot times. Users can choose from a selection of essential bundles which come in two sizes, for two or four people. Orders are taken over the phone, with bundles delivered after two days.
