Woolworths to launch latest Ooshies promotion

Woolworths is set to launch its latest Ooshies collectables campaign on 26 August, with the exception of in Victoria due to the current COVID-19 lockdown in Melbourne.

36 Disney+ characters will be available for collection

The campaign will build of the Lion King Ooshies that it ran last year, with the new theme focused on the Disney+ that launched in Australia in November last year. When shoppers spend AU$30 or more in-store they will be able to collect nine Ooshies characters from each of the Disney+ Marvel, Star WarsTM, Disney or Pixar areas. The new promotion follows swiftly on from Coles launching its own Little Treehouse mini books collectables promotion. Whilst in response to previous negitive publicity about offering plastic toy promotions, Woolworths will use its partnership with TerraCycle to offer recycling of unwanted toys.
