A new store for downtown Boston from Roche Bros. reveals an innovative concept featuring a street-level food-to-go offer and a contemporary, basement located supermarket.

O’ Leary’s Centra is located between Cork city centre and the satellite town of Douglas. Centra has worked hard to create a customer focused offer, looking to meet a range of shopper needs, blurring convenience and food service.

Earlier this year Walmart opened its first convenience store in the US, Walmart to Go. Featuring an eye-catching design, the store, combines elements of a traditional c-store and a fresh food supermarket, while also offering a broad range of food-to-go options. With grocery ecommerce also picking up pace, see how this format could also be an important element of Walmart’s multichannel future.
