Mexican convenience retailer Oxxo wants to increase its store numbers in the Colombian capital. Chile-based Cencosud has announced second quarter results saying that revenue rose 5.4% – to CLP2.586 trillion (US$4.4 billion) – in its second quarter ‘as a result of higher revenues from all the business divisions’. Carrefour has today (31 July) reported growth in recurring operating income of 13.8% for the first half of 2014, and an increase in net income of 16.7%.
