Coop Alleanza 3.0 adds home delivery service

Coop Italia member Coop Alleanza 3.0 has launched the EasyCoop home delivery service, extending its range of ecommerce solutions.

Range of 10,000 products made available

Through EasyCoop Coop Alleanza 3.0 enables shoppers to buy from a range of over 10,000 products. The range includes 3,000 fresh items (fruit, vegetables, meat, fish, dairy products, bread and pastries), all products under its private label brands and local specialities. The retailer said that orders must be over €50, with delivery charges varying depending on when shoppers want to receive them. The cheapest delivery fee will be €2.90.

Dark store to fulfil orders

Coop Alleanza 3.0 will use a dedicated ecommerce warehouse to maintain efficiency and minimise substitutions. The cooperative said that fulfilling orders from one site will also enable it maintain product quality and freshness. Initially EasyCoop will only be available in the Greater Rome area, but Coop Alleanza 3.0 said that it would it would be extended steadily to other parts of the country.
